Can You Help Serve?
Utilize your gifts and talents for the glory of God! We encourage you to engage in these areas, grow, and be discipled as you learn. While we recognize that there are many ministries, and each one is significant in serving the purpose of glorifying God, we are highlighting these specific areas to help individuals get plugged into belonging!
Hospitality
This team is responsible for setting up, serving, and cleaning up after special fellowship events. They ensure that coffee is always ready and available on Sunday mornings and provide treats on occasion. The team will lead the coordination of our Acts 2:42 potluck meals and assist with preparation and decoration for special holidays or events. They also suggest and plan additional special fellowship events throughout the year.

Greeter
As people enter the church, you greet everyone with a warm smile. Direct them to their seats when appropriate, and ensure that visitors receive and fill out a visitor card. If you see someone who is attending alone, feel free to invite them to sit with you or your family. We want everyone to feel that they belong at RLCC. On the first Sunday of each month, the Children and Youth ministries will serve as greeters. You will be assigned to greet on one of the other Sundays. Please be ready to greet at 10:25 AM on your assigned Sunday.

Altar Worker
You are an encourager who enjoys uplifting others and speaks life into their situations. You desire to assist others in their time of need, just as Aaron and Hur helped lift Moses' hands during battle (Exodus 17:12). You strive to be present for those in need and to pray with them when necessary for divine healing. You believe in the power of prayer and maintain a personal, daily practice of prayer, reading God's Word, and growing in your relationship with the Lord.

Church Maintenance & Cleaning (Inside)
A larger church requires more cleaning and maintenance. We are thankful for Sister Jamie, who joyfully serves in this area. We would like to invite others to join the weekly cleaning schedule to help clean and vacuum the church before our Sunday services. Each ministry that uses the church during the week should clean up after their activities to ensure that the final cleaning before Sunday is not overwhelming.

Fundraising Team
Help lead the efforts to raise funds for the church. These funds play a vital role in covering monthly building expenses, supporting project faith, and funding special events. This team is essential for the church's financial stability and for effectively supporting the work of the Lord.

Laundry Love
RLCC, along with two other churches, rotates monthly to provide free laundry services to community residents. We set up at the local laundromat, and twice a month, residents can come to receive funds and supplies for their laundry. The service hours are from 5 PM to 7 PM on the designated Thursday each month, and RLCC is responsible for four months out of the year. We need 1-2 volunteers to be present at the laundromat to distribute the quarters we provide, and to engage with the patrons as we represent the love of Christ.

Children's Ministry
Assist Children’s Ministry leader on either the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Sunday of the month with teaching, games, crafts, and other special events to help kids build their relationship with God. You will be asked to complete a background check for child safety and review our child protection policy. Additional training and certification can be obtained to grow in this ministry.
