The WHY
Our desire is to provide a welcoming space, an accessible building, and improved parking area for anyone who visits or regularly attends RLCC.
The City of Zimmerman has announced plans to construct a roundabout at Fremont Avenue & 2nd Street, which will impact our corner lot, parking space, and entrance to the church parking lot.
- This plan has created an opportunity for us to update the external look of the church.
- In the City’s plan, the current entrance (Fremont Avenue) to the church parking lot will be removed and a new entrance/driveway will be constructed on the 2nd Street side.
- Our plan is to move the “official” front entrance of the church that faces Fremont Avenue and to instead face the parking lot (2nd Street), while adding a foyer/welcome area to create more space in the church.
- Projected for end of 2024 through 2025.
